The Bhagavad Gita is one of the greatest Religious Spiritual Book. It is a book that hasn’t only influenced people of India but overseas. The Gita shows path to the lost, answer to the confused and wisdom to all.
Some of the most popular and important teachings are listed below.

1. Whatever happened, happened for the good. Whatever is happening, is happening for the good. Whatever will happen, will also happen for the good.

No matter how hard the time may seem, it is all for better. Trust the lord, and he’ll bring the best for you.

2. Work is your right. But never expect the result.

Having a goal of achieving something is not bad, but doing something with the hope of gaining something might not be a good idea. Work selflessly and the good result will automatically come to you. Because if we keep expecting, we might end up in pain and disappointment.

3. Change is the law of the universe. You can be a millionaire, or a pauper in an instant.

Nothing is permanent in our lives. The earth keeps revolving, it does not stay stable; the day ends and the night follows; after humid summers follow relieving monsoons. Therefore, we must never throw pride at others, as it can take us down any moment. Stay humble! That the mantra.

4. You came empty handed, and you will leave empty handed.

We get so attached to material things that we often forget that we won’t be taking them with us to the grave. We came without taking anything and we will leave without taking anything. Thus, we must not get attached to things.

5. Meditation and Sadhana give you Inner Peace!

According to Bhagavad Gita, meditation is very helpful to humans. It provides inner peace and by attaining it, one can improve upon his willpower. Also by Sadhna, we would eventually be more focused about the purpose of our life.

6. Ill feelings must be avoided.

We human are always surrounded by some negative and some positive. It's the nature of the universe that negativity always attracts more towards itself than the positivity does. We must not keep ill feelings about other people and other living beings. Such feelings can lead to self destruction.

7. Man is made by his belief. What he believes, he becomes!

You are what you think you are. Your thoughts make and define you. If you think you’re a happy person, you become happy. If you let sad thoughts take over your mind, you tend to become a sad person. Hence, you must choose your thoughts carefully.

8. Truth can never be destroyed.

We should not be afraid of doing good, as truth can never be destroyed. Whatever we do, if it is for the betterment of a person or the society, then we must go ahead and perform our duties without being afraid of anything. As God keeps all the records of our actions and it never goes waste.

9.Our soul never dies.

Our body is made up of elements like 'Agni' (fire), 'Jal' (water), 'Vayu' (wind), 'Prithvi' (earth) and it combines with them after the death. The soul is immortal and it never dies. It just changes bodies.

10.The world is perishable.

In this world, everyone comes with a defined life-span. Nothing in this world is permanent or immortal. One who takes birth dies one day and this is the ultimate truth of life.
